General features

The ceramic backing blocks use a mix of natural inorganic materials (talc, kaolin clay).The adhesive aluminium tape contains no halogen elements. One-side welding ceramic backings are suitable for different arc welding processes:

GMAW
- Solid wire
- Flux cored wire

The technique of using the ceramic backings is easy to learn, even a welder that is not used to weld root passes day by day is able to perform a high quality root pass.
